Craft Hope selected ConKerr Cancer as their Project 9 for September, the month of Pediatric Cancer. With the help of my Mom, we sewed 10 pillowcases to donate. We placed them in plastic bags according to the guidelines. They will be shipped to Cindy Kerr and distributed to Pennsylvania children hospitals.
The deadline for Project 9 is September 15th, so you still have the weekend to whip up a few pillowcases to donate. Here is the regional directory for mailing addresses and drop-off locations.
In other crafting news, the picnic blanket I was sewing is finally finished! Maybe a bit too late for summer picnics, but just in time for cool weather Autumn ones (which are my favorite)!
