This week has been tiring. I had an urge to be creative but the time and energy it needed was not available to me.
The twins are teething (molars!) and for anyone with only ONE baby cutting teeth, the experience is not a pleasant one. Then, times that by two.
It has been quite humid here so the girls have been outside in the wading pool most of the week. The babies wanted in on the fun so that pretty much cements me in place to keep watch.
I am also frustrated that it is the end of July and visions of back to school are everywhere! We still have the entire month of August for summer vacation but seeing all the sales gets me frantic that I should be preparing.
Frankly, I just do not want to think about all that yet.
Thoughts of a new back to school wardrobe, supplies, etc. on the back heels of my oven shutting down on in the middle of my rice pilaf the other night, our camera that decided taking flash pictures was not on its "To-do" list anymore, plus a computer that has dealt its last chip and might just quit on me? Hmm, not a good week.
But, enough of my lamenting...we are taking a long weekend trip to the Poconos to relax and rejuvenate! I hope to be posting regularly next week, for sure.
The week was not all terrible because these fantastic berry bowls arrived last night from my sister, Tessa! She makes pottery and she created these for me!! I can not wait for them to be filled with luscious summer berries!
